Pool Deck Leveling in DFW

Lift settled pool deck slabs back to coping height without draining or demoing.

Pool decks settle for predictable reasons: backfill compaction was thin, soils dried out and shrank, or water from the pool or rain washed soil out from beneath the slab. The result is uneven sections, gaps at the coping, and a tripping risk inches from the water.

Polyurethane foam pool deck leveling lifts the slab back without draining the pool, demoing the deck, or disturbing tile and coping work. The foam is hydrophobic — water near the slab is exactly the environment it’s engineered for.

What gets lifted

  • Concrete pool deck slabs that have settled away from the coping
  • Sunken sections around skimmer lids and equipment pads
  • Trip hazards at expansion joints between deck and patio

We work carefully around tile, coping, and waterline finishes.

How we do it

Drilling

We drill a series of dime-sized holes through the affected slab.

Filling

High-density polyurethane foam is injected beneath the slab. As it expands, it displaces water and air and lifts the concrete to grade.

Patching

Holes are sealed with non-shrink grout, leaving a clean, level surface ready to use the same day.

Common questions

How long does polyurethane foam concrete leveling last?

Polyurethane foam is hydrophobic, chemically inert, and engineered to outlast the slab itself. Most jobs carry a multi-year warranty and the foam itself does not break down with moisture or temperature swings.

How is foam leveling different from mudjacking?

Mudjacking pumps a heavy slurry of cement and soil under the slab, which adds weight and can wash out over time. Polyurethane foam weighs roughly 4 lbs per cubic foot, cures in minutes, and is waterproof — so the lifted slab stays put.

How much does concrete leveling cost?

Pricing depends on slab size, lift height, and access. Most residential projects in DFW fall between a few hundred and a few thousand dollars — typically 50–75% less than tear-out and replacement. We offer free on-site estimates.

How long does the job take?

Most driveway, sidewalk, and patio jobs are completed in a single visit, often in a few hours. The slab is safe to walk on immediately and ready for vehicle traffic the same day.
